The great thing is there is a bridge in Bhujerba Mines (I can't remember which one) that non-stop spawns skeleton people for you to fight. So you can just keep racking up the chains. I got so many levels that way haha. I was underpowered when I went in and overpowered when I came out. The other good place for that is in the Sandsea area where you just keep chaining and chaining (high chains = hp and mp balls to help heal you), which will spawn a boss monster that drops a cool katana.
