FF.Net's quirk

A question to all. Does ff.net's file manager keep the format of your file after you have uploaded it? Mine does not. All italics and bolded words get reset to normal, and it is... inconvenient. Previously I had to go through the fic again after uploaded, in order to put back in the italics and bold and page breaks but... The next fic I am planning to upload is a little long.

What format/file type do you upload as to keep the formatting? I tried .doc, .htm, .html to no avail.

I've had issues before, using Firefox and Chrome and a .wps format.

I don't use italics very often, but if I do, I check through before I publish.
